ONE DAY ON EARTH creates a picture of humanity by recording a 24-hour period throughout every country in the world. We explore a greater diversity of perspectives than ever seen before on screen. We follow characters and events that evolve throughout the day, interspersed with expansive global montages that explore the progression of life from birth, to death, to birth again. In the end, despite unprecedented challenges and tragedies throughout the world, we are reminded that every day we are alive there is hope and a choice to see a better future together.

In occasione della 15ª Mostra Internazionale di Architettura della BIENNALE DI VENEZIA 2016 e insieme all'architetto Massimo Valente, abbiamo creato e prodotto un corto documentario dove un condominio degli anni ‘60 di una ex periferia romana è lo scenario all’interno del quale si muove la narrazione. Un racconto che raccoglie il contributo di sei famiglie portate, forse per la prima volta, a riflettere sul rapporto che hanno costruito con gli spazi che abitano. La configurazione degli spazi modifica le abitudini e la condizione dell’esistenza quotidiana.

This is my third One day on Earth video. This year the theme was: "What do you have? What do you need?", so I decided to portrait a visual poem about optimism that reflects our state of mind. Thanks to Orsetta Borghero, who's given an incredible life to these wonderful words. Shot on 12.12.12 in an ex mental hospital near Milan.
